Summer Intern — AI, Data Science & Healthcare Innovation

LucidAct Health builds intelligent care management infrastructure that helps clinical teams act on the right information at the right moment — keeping high-risk patients out of the hospital and ahead of the crisis curve. Our platform connects remote monitoring, predictive analytics, and AI-driven workflows into something that actually gets used at the bedside.
This summer, we're bringing on one intern to help us push that further.
What You'll Work On
This isn't a shadowing role. You'll have a real scope — contributing to AI and data science initiatives that touch the core LucidAct platform. Depending on your strengths, that could include:
- Prototype AI and ML models for patient risk stratification and trend detection
- Research LLMs, generative AI, and automation applied to healthcare workflows
- Build proof-of-concepts across predictive modeling and anomaly detection
- Build dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for clinical and operational leadership
- Analyze data to surface patterns and improvement opportunities
- Prepare executive-ready summaries for leadership review
You'll collaborate directly with product, operations, and leadership — not just sit in a ticket queue.
You're a Fit If You Are...
CS, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biomedical Informatics, Business Analytics, or related — undergrad or grad
Not just checking a box — you actually want to understand how data and AI improve patient outcomes
Comfortable with Python, SQL, or Excel — experience with BI tools or ML libraries is a plus
Can translate analysis into something a non-technical audience can actually act on
You don't need hand-holding, but you're not too proud to ask smart questions
Bonus points for: Experience with LLMs or generative AI tools · Healthcare data or digital health exposure · Dashboard and KPI development · Remote patient monitoring familiarity
